A cost-effective way of providing support for young people.
From a council and schools perspective, AV1 has many benefits. The scheme has been warmly praised in our recent inspection. It is a cost-effective way of providing support for young people that other students and staff also love to be part of, both in the classroom, where they’re looking after the robot and for the user.

Participate in social life and learning.
In combination with our good digital equipment, the AV1 avatars help us to enable pupils who are unable to attend lessons due to serious illnesses, for example, to participate in social life and learning.
The student is in school!
One student, with AV1s help, turned 100% school absence in the autumn in grade 2 into almost 100% school attendance in the spring. As a step towards the classroom, the student works in a group room and a parent is present most of the day – but the student is in school!
