how can we work together to support children and young people who are struggling to attend school, while maintaining their connection, belonging and access to learning?

This webinar brings together Local Authority, Trust and school perspectives to explore one of the biggest challenges facing education today: how can we work together to support children and young people who are struggling to attend school, while maintaining their connection, belonging and access to learning?
With persistent absence and Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA) presenting increasingly complex challenges, effective attendance and inclusion support requires collaboration across the education system.
The panel will explore where responsibilities lie, how Local Authorities, Trusts and schools can work together, and what effective early intervention looks like in practice — from identifying emerging attendance difficulties through to maintaining curriculum access and connection, and supporting reintegration.
The webinar is free to attend, and all registrants will receive a recording after the event.

This is designed as a practical leadership discussion rather than a product webinar, with opportunity to reflect on what truly inclusive education systems need to look like moving forward.
